Am important part of school life at West Kidlington is beyond the grounds of the school. Children visit many local shops, the local airport and fire station, buildings in Kidlington and  the local community.

We make the most of being close to Oxford and the beautiful countryside. We have a particularly strong relationship with the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, and were lucky to meet the Queen when she opened the recent refurbishment of the museum!

There is a strong musical tradition at West Kidlington. In recent years, our choirs have performed at the Royal Albert Hall and O2 Arena in London, Birmingham Symphony Hall and LG Arena in Birmingham, Dorchester Abbey and many prestigous locations in Oxford.

During Year 6, we offer a residential trip with PGL. We visit their centre in Liddington, near Swindon.
