Message from Mr Isherwood

Dear Families

Thank you for your understanding regarding the school being closed on Monday. There were several staff members and parents who have been busy this morning clearing pathways and gritting. Looking at the weather forecast there is no more snow. However, freezing conditions overnight will mean that everyone travelling to school will need to be careful. We expect to be fully open tomorrow at the normal time, if this changes we will contact everyone immediately. Please can we ask all families to remind children that they must be sensible and keep each other safe.

On a separate note, last week we wrote to every family in KS1 and KS2 (Year 1-6) regarding the Christmas Service next Monday 18th December. We would like every child to attend this event and your support in this would be hugely appreciated. The children have worked really hard rehearsing several songs to perform with you. We have worked with Jenni Matthews who is an incredible Music teacher and has really worked as a school bonding opportunity. Please could every family with a child in Year 1-6 come and support this whole school and community event. Free hot drink, mince pies and an opportunity to see the children’s DT work in the form of lanterns.

Thank you!

Mr Isherwood
