Admissions
A child can start our nursery in the term after their third birthday. The nursery has one place per session for children with special needs. They are referred to us by other agencies.
Please contact the school office for information about the school’s admissions policy.
We prefer children to start over a number of days in small groups to enable your child to settle with ease; although they can start nursery on the first day of term. Staggering intake proves to be a better experience for your child. We will assume your child will attend either five morning or five afternoon sessions. Holidays during term time will not be approved, especially during June, which is key assessment time.
Curriculum
We teach the Foundation Stage Curriculum through structured play and adult supported activities, enabling your child to work towards the Early Learning Goals. We have a spacious outdoor area and take the children to our nature area once a fortnight.
