Each week, we will revisit an area of Maths which has been previously taught in school. We have chosen concepts considered to be key learning and which need to be truly embedded for the following year group. Below, you will find an introductory video where a teacher will explain the concept. Please encourage your child to follow the method shown in the video by the teacher as this is what they have learnt at school and will help keep continuity and reduce stress.
Following this video, you will find 5 activities which your child can explore. Your child should try to complete at least 3 activities over the week but remember that it is okay if they need to spend more than one day on the same activity. In the supporting documents section below each activity, you may find additional resources which will help your child or answers to questions if appropriate.
This week's theme is 'Factors, Common Factors, and Prime Numbers'.
