Kidlington Primary School and Nursery recently
invested in a range of new learning
resources
in order to update and modernise the children’s learning
experience.
In
the reception
and lower key
stage groups, we
invested in the Read Write
Inc scheme as well as Project X.
They are
extremely well-researched
and high-quality resources that engage children and develop them at
pace.
For
the upper key stage groups,
we
have invested in
Fresh Start,
which is engaging the older children through i’s small group and
focused approach.
We are continually updating our resources and have introduced an idea where children are asked to donate a book to their class for their birthday, instead of/as well as the traditional sweets, as a way of expanding our resources with books children have chosen, enjoyed, and want to share with their friends.
