Parent Testimonials

“My daughter loves coming to Nursery every morning. She feels happy and safe in the setting and has grown in confidence throughout the year. She often chats at home about the activities she has engaged in and always comes out with a smile on her face. Forest school visits are a particular highlight... especially the hot chocolate! Thank you for looking after and nurturing her in what is such an important year of a child’s development.”

"I am very happy with school, teachers, and Staff. West Kidlington Nursery has made my child more confident in talking and making friends, and learning new skills. I am pleased with my child's progress. He loves the Nursery and Forest school. I would like to say thank you to Miss Bhomra, Jo, Kim, and John for being so supportive and helpful."

Starting Nursery - What to Expect

We prefer children to start over a number of days in small groups to enable your child to settle with ease; although they can start nursery on the first day of term. Staggering intake proves to be a better experience for your child. We will assume your child will attend either five morning or five afternoon sessions. Holidays during term time will not be approved, especially during June, which is key assessment time.

In Nursery we expect children to be in the Nursery by 8.30am. Children who arrive after 8.45am in the Nursery will be recorded as late in the Nursery register. Our afternoon session will start at 12.30pm. Any child arriving after 12.45pm will be recorded as being late in the Nursery register.
