SKIPS Pre-School
SKIPS is a charity run pre-school that nurtures the wellbeing, curiosity and growth of children aged 2 to 4 years old.
Much of our work with the children is guided by their interests and learning through play. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum in order to support the children’s development. Our experienced and qualified staff gently guide children through their early years and equip them with skills to confidently move up to ‘big school’, ensuring that a love for learning has been gained and a bucketful of fun has been had along the way. We have a fabulous outdoor space for outdoor learning and movement and enjoy short walks in the local community.
We offer full day sessions, one daily session or one daily session with lunch club at a frequency that suits you and your child. You are welcome to do a mixture of full days and part days as well. Our days start with a warm welcome at 8.50am and end with a song and/or a story at 3.30pm, Monday to Friday during term times.
We have a great relationship with the West Kidlington Primary and Nursery School and children who attend their nursery can be collected by our staff from a morning session or taken to an afternoon session if they attend lunch club at SKIPS.
Our sessions are:
Morning session: 8.45am – 11.45am
Lunch club: 11.45am – 12.30pm
Afternoon session: 12.30pm – 3.30pm
Fees are £12 per session and £3.50 per lunch club.
15 hours of funding is available for ALL 3 and 4 year olds starting the term after their third birthday.
?15 hours of funding is also available for eligible 2 year olds.
30 hours funding? is available for eligible 3 and 4 year olds starting the term after their third birthday. In addition, 3 and 4 year olds may also be eligible for ?Early Years Pupil Premium
